Web4 dec. 2006 · I use this on standing seam metal roofing with a ridge vent. I cut in a 4" wide ridge vent (2" on each side). I put screen over the vent gap and then add this as additional vent screening material (2 is 1, 1 is none) under the metal ridge cap to keep out the bats and hard wind driven rain.
