A diaper would take care of the long staircases leading down to the restrooms, never mind just having to get into the lodge. On the flip side, sitting on the lift would be uncomfortable. I have used diapers while snowmobiling.

Before I got started with diapers, I'd wear cotton thermal underpants under my snowpants and wet them directly. It did get cold after a while so I had to wet again and again to keep warm.
